Quote FAQ
What is the minimum order for a custom apparel quote?
One piece is fine to order, but a quote is worth requesting from 12 to 24 pieces and up, where volume pricing starts, or if you plan to reorder regularly. It also helps for multi-location programs, mixed styles, rush deadlines or PO / Net terms. For a single piece, order directly on the product page.
How long does a quote take?
Most quotes go out within a few hours, and always within one business day. A mockup is sent for approval before production starts on every order.
What do you need from me to quote?
The logo file (any format — vector preferred), quantity, garment style or category, sizes, and the placement you want. If you are not sure which garment fits, send the use case and we suggest models.
How much does a custom embroidered polo cost?
A Port Authority K500 Silk Touch polo with a left-chest embroidered logo is $36.28 (blank $24.28 + embroidery $12). Volume discounts start at 12 pieces (−5%), 24 (−10%) and 48+ (−20%).
How fast is production?
1–2 business days for a single piece and 3–5 business days for bulk orders after artwork approval.
What artwork do you need from me?
Vector (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) or a PNG at 300 dpi at final size with a transparent background. For embroidery, artwork is stitched as solid shapes: flat colours up to about six are covered by free digitizing, while gradients, drop shadows and photographic fills have to be rebuilt first. DTF print handles gradients, photographs and any number of colours — what matters there is resolution and a clean cut-out. Screenshots, AI-generated images, hand drawings and low-resolution files need work before either method, and we quote that before starting.
