What's the minimum order quantity?
No minimum order. You can order from 1 piece for all three decoration methods — DTF printing, embroidery, and HTV. Bulk pricing tiers begin at 12+ pieces with progressively lower per-piece costs. Whether you need a single sample or 500-piece corporate run, we handle it the same way.
Can I provide my own garments for decoration?
Yes, in most cases. We decorate customer-supplied garments, bags, towels and accessories with DTF, embroidery or HTV. These are quoted individually, since pricing depends on the item, the method and the quantity. Request a quote and tell us what you have, and we will confirm whether we can decorate it and what it costs.
What artwork file formats do you accept?
Vector files preferred: AI, EPS, PDF, SVG — these scale to any size without quality loss. Raster artwork: 300 DPI minimum at final print size (PNG with transparent background, PSD, TIFF). Avoid screenshots and low-resolution JPGs. Logo digitizing for embroidery is included free with every order — you don't need a pre-digitized file. Free digitizing applies to standard logo artwork; detailed illustrations are quoted separately.
How long does production take?
Standard turnaround is 3-5 business days after artwork approval for stock garment colors. Specialty colors (heathers, neons) may add 2-3 days due to supplier lead times. Rush production (24-48 hours) is available for time-sensitive orders for +25% fee — contact us before placing the order to confirm availability.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. All orders are produced in our US-based facility (Crafttory LLC) and shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS depending on weight, dimensions, and destination. Free shipping available on orders above qualifying thresholds — see product pages for current rates.
Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes — request a sample in your quote. We produce a single decorated piece on your chosen garment so you can verify color, placement, and quality before committing to bulk production. The sample cost is credited toward your bulk order if you proceed. Request a sample quote →
What's the difference between DTF, embroidery, and HTV?
DTF (Direct-to-Film): Prints unlimited photo-quality color on most fabrics — best for complex logos, gradients, and full-color artwork. Embroidery: Stitches your design directly into the fabric — most durable, premium feel, ideal for corporate logos on polos, hats, and jackets. HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl): Heat-pressed colored vinyl for bold names, numbers, and single-color designs — perfect for sports teams and performance wear.
How should I care for custom-decorated garments?
Wash inside-out in cold water for all methods. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and high-heat ironing on decorated areas. Durability: Embroidery lasts the life of the garment (100+ wash cycles), DTF prints withstand 50+ cycles, and HTV holds up for 40+ cycles with proper care.
Do you offer free design or logo mockups?
Yes — mockups are free. After you submit your artwork and place an order, we send a digital mockup showing exactly how your design will appear on the garment (placement, size, and color). Production starts only after you approve the mockup, so there are no surprises.
